As an Inbound Marketing Strategist at Digitopia you are the main point of contact for our clients and help them build full-funnel marketing programs using our proprietary Digital Utopia Blueprint.

You oversee the research, strategy, and ultimately, the implementation and success of our inbound marketing and content programs.

  • Have a strong eye for sales copy that converts, and
  • Possess an elevated working knowledge of SEO and Paid Advertising best practices

You should be a master relationship-builder.

You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and you have extensive experience developing, managing, and executing comprehensive content strategies/campaigns—including multi-service digital marketing tactics.

This is being offered as a part- or full-time position. Fully remote.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects and services accurately and on time every time
  • Act as the main point of contact for all content strategy-related projects with clients and between internal teams/departments
  • Design and optimize full pain-point-focused funnels using our Digital Utopia Blueprints
  • Write sales copy, edit blog copy, and  develop strategic messaging calendars
  • Ensure that content strategy aligns with the overarching account strategy, client goals, and paid traffic needs
  • Create content development roadmaps and timelines, along with measurable KPIs that ensure content investments will align with long-term business goals
  • Manage content creation process by overseeing content creators. Content includes both text-based content and rich media (e.g. video, infographics, creative, etc.).
  • Ensure that all content meets quality standards and brand guidelines set by both Digitopia and our clients

Required Skills and Attributes

Requirements

  • BA or BS undergraduate degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years professional experience with content strategy at a digital media agency, marketing agency, or on an in-house marketing team.
  • Comfortable leading mid-size to enterprise-level clients.
  • Experience managing projects and driving marketing campaigns from start to finish.
  • Experience developing messaging and copy for mid-size and enterprise-level organizations. Must have experience developing or reviewing content and creative briefs. Experience developing taxonomy or writing style guides a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of communication techniques and best practices including developing and presenting written content for web and social media; and presentation of video, graphics, and other visual elements.
  • Ability to gain insight from data in order to make actionable recommendations including leveraging web analytics data to inform content optimization.
  • Understanding of best practices of branded digital media including UX, UI, creative design, copywriting, Paid Media, SEO, CRM, and Social Media.
  • Ability to provide high-quality work, customer service and demonstrate expert knowledge within the industry, and quickly become an expert in multiple business verticals.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including client presentations.
  • Must be teachable.
  • Good research and problem-solving skills.
