Internship - Paid Advertising Specialist

Are you looking to dive into the dynamic field of digital advertising? This paid internship offers the opportunity to learn the strategies and tactics behind creating compelling B2B ad campaigns that convert online users into qualified sales conversations.

As a Paid Advertising Intern, you will support a Senior Paid Ad Strategist and gain hands-on experience in Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta Ads platforms. From shadowing client calls to building and analyzing ad campaigns, this internship is designed to provide practical knowledge and real-world experience.

  • Compensation: Minimum wage
  • Hours: 8–12 hours per week (flexible schedule)
  • Location: Fully remote (must have your own computer)

What You'll Learn

  • How to audit existing ad accounts in Google Ad Manager, LinkedIn Ad Manager, and Meta Ad Manager
  • Designing ad campaigns that drive conversions
  • Writing compelling ad copy that captures attention
  • Analyzing ad performance to optimize results
  • Conducting professional strategy and reporting meetings with clients
  • Setting up HubSpot for ad monitoring and reporting
  • Collaborating with SEO and Inbound Marketing teams to understand integrated demand generation

Responsibilities

  • Shadow client calls to observe strategy and client communication
  • Build and manage ad campaigns in Google, LinkedIn, and Meta platforms
  • Compile and analyze traffic and conversion reports
  • Meet with the Sr. Paid Ad Strategist 3–5 times per week for training and task assignments
  • Participate in onboarding and monthly goal-setting with the Director of Client Success
  • Utilize tools like Slack for communication and Monday.com for task management
  • Optional participation in virtual team-building events to engage with company culture

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university
  • 18+

Bonus Skills and Attributes

  • Experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop
  • Food service experience such as a busser, waiter, barista, etc. (Seems unrelated, right? You can ask about it at your interview if you're curious.)
